SEC Operational KPIs

OPERATIONAL key performance indicators extracted from SEC filings — the business-specific metrics that are never XBRL-tagged: ASP per gigabyte and exabytes sold (storage), available seat miles / load factor / PRASM / CASM (airlines), subscribers / net additions / churn / ARPU (telecom and subscription businesses), home deliveries / net orders / backlog (homebuilders), RevPAR (lodging), and similar physical-unit or count metrics. Sourced from MD&A prose and operating-statistics tables of 10-K/10-Q filings and 6-K/8-K earnings releases, plus custom XBRL extension concepts where companies tag them. Units are physical or count units (exabytes, millions of seat miles, units, subscribers, percent) — see each series' measurement_units. Coverage is per-company: a KPI exists only for companies that actually disclose it (see the kpi_code dimension). CRITICAL semantics: series whose id contains '_yoy_' hold MANAGEMENT-STATED percent changes year-over-year, NOT levels — e.g. a value of 248 at 2026-04-03 means 'up 248% vs the prior-year period' (for ratio KPIs like load_factor the yoy series is in percentage POINTS). Never integrate '_yoy_' series into levels. Absolute-form series hold levels in the stated physical units. Cross-company queries should join on the kpi_code and value_form dimensions.

In SQL, this dataset is the rows of sec.series with dataset_code = 'sec_kpi'.
