Company screener: sector, market value and valuation ratios for US-listed companies
One row per US-listed company that files financial statements with the SEC (about 2,400): sector and industry, share price, market value, enterprise value, revenue, profit and cash flow of the latest twelve months, price-to-sales, price-to-earnings, price-to-book and enterprise-value ratios, margins and revenue growth. Used to find companies that match conditions, for example technology companies with price-to-sales above 10 and market value above 50 billion dollars. This schema does not follow the usual series/data_points layout: query the view screener.companies with SQL and filter on its columns. Prices come from Nasdaq's public stock list, are refreshed every fifteen minutes during US market hours and are delayed about fifteen minutes; price_as_of gives the time of the last refresh. Twelve-month totals are computed by FactIQ from the numbers each company filed; fundamentals_period_end gives the date they end. Ratios are NULL for a company that reports in a currency other than US dollars, and when the bottom number is zero or negative. screener.daily_history keeps one row per company per trading day.
In SQL, this dataset is the rows of screener.series with dataset_code = 'screener_companies'.
This source keeps its data in its own tables. Query them with SQL or use the dedicated tools.
