India EPF payroll: new subscribers, exits and rejoiners by age and gender (EPFO)

Monthly and fiscal-year payroll figures of the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), as printed in MOSPI's monthly release Payroll Reporting in India: An Employment Perspective, monthly from September 2017 to August 2024 and for the fiscal years 2018-19 to 2023-24 (dated 1 January of the first year): the number of new EPF subscribers, of members that ceased subscribing, and of exited members who rejoined and resubscribed, by age band (less than 18, 18-21, 22-25, 26-28, 29-35, more than 35, all ages) and gender (male, female, others, not available, all), in persons as printed. Each period holds the value of the newest release that prints it; recent months are revised in later releases. No state or industry split (MOSPI does not print one). Source stopped: MOSPI printed its last EPFO payroll table in October 2024 (data to August 2024); the EPFO site refuses automated access. Re-check if MOSPI resumes. (new subscribers, all ages: mospi-epfo:new_subscribers_all_ages_all_monthly; filter dimensions by measure, age_group or gender).
